January 7, 20251 yr #256 Very nice, solcarlus! With the five trumpets/bugles in the center this indicates the Fire Chief rank, as you may know.
January 7, 20251 yr #257 Bonjour Cobra. This is absolutely not my collection area, which is the US WWI. I got this badge with firefighter helmets in a DRMO in Germany, there are many. Kind regards. Ce n'est absolument pas mon domaine de collection, qui est l'US WWI. J'ai récupéré cet insigne avec des casques de pompier dans un DRMO en Allemagne, il y a de nombreuses. cordialement.
January 15, 20251 yr #259 Recent visit with my daughter, her husband and my grandsons generated a lot of smiles when they said they wanted to go with me to dig through the Goodwill Dump bins. She does clothes through Posh Mark so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as my passion for going "junking" has rubbed off on her. Got some great used toys for the grandsons and truly a score for me when I found a PATCH at the bottom of one of the bins. Fairchild AFB is located just up the road from the store. DOUBLE BONUS!!!
February 24, 20251 yr #266 It appears to be a bad attempt at a coyote with a long tongue hanging out of its mouth maybe?
February 24, 20251 yr #267 Well, that was a better guess than mine (I thought it looks like a thing with wings … go figure).
April 13, 20251 yr #274 In my US Army FD badge collection, I have one from Savanna Ordnance Depot but my question is this: What does P.G. ILL. stand for? I've looked up the area but I've not found any reference to "P. G.". If anyone has information about what the letters stand for, please let me know. Thanks.
April 13, 20251 yr #275 Thanks for posting this badge. Unfortunately, you’ve got me stumped, too. Maybe another reader can help.
