KC Veterans Salute Display

Each year, for the past 25 years, the Mid-Continent Library Genealogy Center has put on a program called the Kansas City Veterans Salute. This "thank you for your service" homage to area military veterans includes various organizations such as: VFW, Marine Corps League, various reenactor groups, etc. The VFW provides a military band, Hy-Vee catering provides a free lunch, and our group, KCMCC, provides collector displays.

The Kansas City Military Collector Club (KCMCC) has participated in this excellent program for years and is proud to help support the Veterans Salute. Below is one of the displays that we put on this weekend. The US Veteran uniforms and swords comprised my display.

Awesome display! Wonderfully done. It's so nice when a group of people go to that much effort to share with the public.

Thanks for the kudos guys! These displays are a lot of hard work to put on but are very satisfying at the end of the day.
