June 21, 20197 yr #1 Recent estate sale find. After reading Gary Cunningham's excellent "Bayonet Points", I have a question. Were all M7s made from cut down M3s stamped REP on the underside of the throats? Mine seems to be from an early M3, now an M7, but no REP marking? All comments welcomed. Thanks, Al
June 21, 20197 yr #2 While the REP can be hard to find, it appears some converted scabbards didn't get marked. I think I've only seen one that wasn't marked, and as far as I know, no one has been making the converted scabbards with the crimp on the throat in recent years.
