Hi all, here some patches for the 509th Security Forces Squadron (flights) that came out this year at Whiteman AFB.

With OCP's coming into vogue, squadron patches will FINALLY be making a return to the uniform! Yay!

Yes, and that's great. But, in the age of Velcro, why not be allowed to wear full color when not deployed? That would be the way to go instead of barely discernible subdued stuff. I never cared for wearing those when I was in, but the full color ones I wore really stood out and you could see who was assigned to what without have to get within 3 feet of someone. Still, nice to see they are back to patches regardless. Just my thoughts...

Well, the US Army has their garrison patches, and I could see the USAF doing the same. There is no reason why not. They should go back to the colored baseball hats with the squadron designations on them as well. That really added the color that the USAF used to be known for.
