Picked up these recently. Always thought photos of Marine wearing Kepi's were cool.

 

I think all of these guys were part of the Marine Detachment on the USS Newark circa 1895/96

An absolutely outstanding assortment of Marine portraits from likely one ship's detail. Phenomenal stuff, can we see a close up of a hat device or two? I think these are good enough to reveal some great details!
