I would say....you forked yourself.

HAhahahaha, not bad! Alright, I TOOK THIS STRAIGHT TO THE TOP! I contacted the USAMD and they have a subgroup that research's their history. The task of getting an ID on the forkin forks has been handed off to three researchers who will contact me when they have an answer. : p

Just to toss this out there...these aren't the Navy's officer pattern silverware...I believe the "USN" ones were used in mess halls and mess decks.

When I was looking for info on line I did come across USN Officers silver mess sets and "State silverware". It seems way back in the day capitol ships had silverware for meetings with heads of state when in the ports of country's. Very nice serving sets.
