Being an HSL-35 AW/Rescue Swimmer from the 1980s I find this helmet interesting. Being that my brethren flew in S-3s and this squadron...

I just wanted to explain exactly what a "Duty cat" is, the Duty Cat protected the aircraft and crews of VS-24 while in the air and on missions a mascot of sorts. Nice helmet sir!

I think officially they are known as the "Scouts"
