Lovely piece from 1919 German occupation. Semper Fi.......Bob

Once again Tom, just a very nice patch. Bobgee is right on of course, 1919 occupation German made. Here is a pic of two patches that I acquired in a large grouping I acquired out of the woodwork and never in a previous collection. They belonged to a WWI Lieutenant assiged to the first battalion fifth Marines. He saw a lot of serivice. The left patch is depicted in his stuidio photo and was removed from the tunic he was wearing in the photo. The right one is very similar to yours. Congrats! Kevin
