May 14, 20179 yr #1 This is a Navy corpsmen helmet, a mid-war front seam swivel bail with a kind of mud camouflage. Hard to tell if this is caked mud or paint. One can also see blackish paint underneath. There is another identical one, without the initials, in another collection. Some people mistake these for ETO winter camos, but they are not. Recall that Okinawa was a muddy, wet slog of a battle. It belonged to Louis G.
