Flea market find of WW2 enlisted cap badges one hallmarked Made In Mexico

Picked these up at the flea market and didn't know that some of our US enlisted cap badges were made in Mexico during WW2

I have seen wings and DIs made there as well.

I did not know it either. However, the visor was not issued after late '41/early '42. Those who wore it bought their own commercial versions. Given that, we can assume that the cap insignia was not made either, particularly to save brass for strategic reasons. (Plastic insignia was made though.)
