Hello

 

- There is a sad testimony of the Normandy landing (pic taken in a book, the item itself being displayed in the Colleville museum)

It's a rubber overshoe that has a leather shoes and remnant of a feet in it ... it came back in 1992 on the surf ...

 

- Does anyone has pics of this item ?

 

- Is it a standart ww2 USN issue ?

Hello,

 

I have some low overshoes similar in manufacturing to the boots, but without any marking (except the red one on the sole).

The only information I've been able to find about low overshoes are the ones for the women, mentionned in supply catalog.
