Came across this today. Interesting piece. Never seen one. Why would there be an address on it if it's a veteran piece? Any info as to the origin of this piece? Given by the military?

The address is who made it. Probably made in late 80's-90's.

At the top of the rear of the buckle where it says "name" and "unit" is where the individual who bought it would have had their name and unit engraved or stamped. The address is the guy who made them. I agree with vintageproductions, 80's to 90's era. It's a shame it isn't engraved.

Pretty sure he was the maker or had then made and then sold them.Havent found a direct link to him as a maker/seller of these

 

He was very active in Veterans Organizations this to me has all the ear marks of something that was created for resale.

 

His name at the bottom is like an artists signature.Lets you know who and where it was made.
