Acquired this box of what I believe are CO2 cylinders for life vests. The box is dated 1942 and all 6 cylinders are inside and unused. Each cylinder is stamped USN. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That is cool, probably for the MK1 life vest. I hav never seen a USN marked cylinder

Those are really nice. Pretty scarce I would say, if they are still pressurized.
