July 12, 201610 yr #1 This pin is one of a pair that belonged to a P-39 pilot serving in the 6th AAF, Panama Canal Zone. I picture one of the pair next to a standard sized winged prop lapel pin to show the larger size. It is not as large as the Air Cadet pins but is in between. Where would this pair of larger pins be worn? Thanks.
July 12, 201610 yr #2 The larger one on the right was worn on the overseas caps (or "garrison" caps, or "piss cutters"), worn by aviation cadets during the war. Pre war they were worn by Air Corps officers on their caps too. I'm not in the business of giving values, so maybe a dealer will take care of that for you.
