I'm still waiting to see evidence of German infantry actually carrying garands in combat.....They tended to like lightweight weapons that had high rates of fire....Hence you see them carrying the US carbines....Bodes

Here's some captured American armour by the Japanese

Very nice topic! BTW the most interesting "beute waffen" I've seen so far was M1A1 carbine (special version for paratroopers with folding stock) found few years ago on formed German positions on eastern front ( I don't remember if it was western Poland or eastern Germany). M1 Carbines weren't sent to USSR as part od Lend-Lease programme so it was probably taken by German soldier who was stationed in France or Holland for some time and later was sent to eastern front.
