Thought this was pretty cool... my uncle (who was a career Marine who retired around 2000) represented the USMC at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY. He even wore a custom made luge suit with USMC on the back. Here are some photos he sent me:

unfortunately he doesn't have any photos showing the USMC on his back... but he says he does still have the suit (along with his sled and helmet) around somewhere. I told him to send me some photos when he finds them!

Wow, that is pretty neat. I would love to see more pictures when you get them!!
