Knuckle knife named to ROGER A.HAWK 110th Field Artillery United States Army.

 

Hand made knuckle appears to be made by his father as there is a notation on scabbard that this set was made from a Civil War sword.

 

Knife with a push type spike dagger and both named to the veteran.Havent done any searches on the vet but recall the 110th FA was assigned to the 29th Division.

Pommel hand stamped with vets name,serial number and 110th FA....

 

The hand made knucks are also stamped ROGER HAWK 1943.

if this is the Roger A Hawk i am thinking of he lived not too far from me and died in January 2008

and again if it is the same man this is his brief info. i believe if i remember correctly he served in the 69th and 29th... fathers name was Walter Hawk.

What a great looking knife. It appears to have a Patton sabre blade (I think).

Really nice find. Has a little bit of a Woroniecki look - maybe copied from one. The push dagger is neat.

As Sic indicated looks like a woroniecki design with full width blade. Great knife, scabbard looks very nice too. The owner must have thought it was cool too as it doesn't look like he wore it much. Thanks for sharing.

Knife blade is almost 9 inches long.At its widest point below cross guard is approximately 4 inches.

 

The dagger is 7 5/8 inches.Flat on both sides.
