Civil War Enfield bayonet from Belgium

Hello Folks.

Here's a bayonet I just got from ebay. From what little research is available, it is likely a Civil War import for the 1853 Enfield which was heavily imported during the war on both sides. According to the book, "European Bayonets of the American Civil War" by David Noe and Joseph Serbaroli, Jr., the initials F&T are for Falisse and Trapmann, a Belgian arms company. The book does not have a picture of this bayonet, but mentions that the Belgian 1853 Enfield bayonets were marked only with the initials of the Leige manufacturers.

That would pretty much identify this bayonet as a likely US import for the Civil War, but on a site on the internet, I found a Falisse and Trapmann Rifle which was also imported to the US during the Civil War. No bayonet for that rifle was mentioned. In spite of this rifle being in the mix, I would have to conclude that since this bayonet looks like and has the measurements of an 1853 Enfield bayonet, it is likely an Enfield bayonet imported from Belgium. IF anyone has more information about this bayonet please chime in. Also, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CONTACT DAVID NOE OR JOSEPH SERBAROLI,JR. to maybe get their input?
