While reading through the news, it appears that Herbert H. Adams of Worcester, MA made his final jump on October 4th. Herb served as a machine gunner with 3rd Platoon, Company D, 504th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division. He joined the regiment in Italy, made the Market Garden jump, and survived the Battle of the Bulge.
