Help ID'ing interesting 1950's jacket with artwork

I recently picked up this jacket with a pair of M49 combat boots. The jacket resembles a B-15 flight jacket in the style but has a neck that is knit like a tankers jacket. The lining is a thick brownish grey wool. I've seen a similar jacket from a maj. Who was a tanker in WWII through to Vietnam era. My guess is that this is German custom made. Has a large center zipper by talon and an unmarked small chest pocket zipper. On the back is what looks like a DUI drawn in marker/pen that is very faded. The artwork is hard to see when it's not in the sun and hard to get pics of it. I have attempted to draw what's on the back in hopes someone may identify the DUI. I'm not an artist at all so please no pokes at the sad drawing attempt!! Haha any help is appreciated.

My guess with the lightning bold striking upward it's a signal corps related.

Doesn't look like an Army DI, they don't have numbers like that on their scrolls, like a unit designator, so the maybe it for a Air Force Wing/Squadron????
