Very nice grouping! William H Kaiser enlisted April 4th, 1907 and did his entire service on the USS West Virgina. Interesting to note that he made corporal in June 1909 and was caught sleeping on Orderly Watch. He was busted back to private the same month, which was his rank at discharge.

I was told that it was only used in the "Corps" for a couple of years prior to WWI
