Thanks, that's how I like 'em. No scuffs, scrapes,...nada! Hopefully they'll be a good investment as well. Once you get into the ones with rails and velcro, the skies the limit. All kinds of accessories can be added. Sort of like Barbies for guys!

Indeed. Some accessories you just can't go without.

congratulations on these very nice and mint helmets. As you said the mount on the pasgt is the latter model plastic PVS7 mount (there is an earlier one that is the one pictured here https://westernrifleshooters.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/police_state-newsweek.jpg

that one in the picture is bolted, but it came originally with a slighlty different OD ratchet strap). a more common would be the later metal mount.

Did you put the nvg mount on the ACH as well? One of the newer gold colored ones may be kosher as well (wither an identical one or the revised model http://nightlongind.com/norotos-rhino-ii-titanium-with-helmet-mount-demo/

Thanks, I went with black as it's earlier than the gold or tan ones. Looking for a silver one yet.

Love the Mario character!

Havent heard from any of the mods I contacted about getting us a split from the Steel guys and having our own Kevlar side. Maybe I'll go higher up.

I would also like the idea of having a seperate area for 1980-present helmets. I love learning about the ACH and LWH. It will be cool to see the ECH in the next few years make its way to the collecting market. Just curious were is everyone finding the high cut ACH helmets?

Hey Matt

We'll just keep adding pics and new topics. At some point it will have to be done. High and mid cuts are very hard to find. I have a Rabintex thats High cut and Hydro dipped in Multi cam for sale.

Can and will do when I have the funds to make my next helmet purchase. In the mean time I will learn to post some of my collection up.

Just purchased a complete, NIB MSA Medium ACH in OD Green. Will have it the beginning of next week, and of course there will be pics. The Ebay seller is almost giving these away at $110. Here's the site:

If none are listed, message him and he'll add another one.

Tell him 37thguy sent you. I don't know this seller, just want to pass on a good deal to fellow collectors!

The green ones seem to be harder to find, at least for me.

Hope this is OK to do? If not, Mods feel free to remove. Again, just trying to have my fellow Kevlar collectors get in on a great deal.

Remember they are Mediums ONLY.

Let me know if you get one. Good luck. ;)

An update for the above post:

I received the OD Green ACH today. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came in the Original Factory shipping box! When opened it is in it's palstic bag and has the Users Manual as well. I can't state enough what a deal these are at only $135 shipped. It hasn't a mark on it. It is as fresh as Spring time daffodil.

Pics forthcoming.
