I know he was not a US serviceman, but I feel I should post because freeing him and his people is one of the reasons we fought. Severin Fayerman was THE MOST inspirational person I have ever had the blessing to know. First met him 6 years ago when I was 12 ears old. He was the first Holocaust survivor I had ever met, and will never forget his impact on those he met. HE came out of the horror and built one of the most long-lasting businesses in the Reading area. His work ethic and positivity was truly contagious.

 

If any members on the East Coast have memories of him and his remarkable story of the human spirit, please share.

 

I will miss him more than I can say, and a huge, irreplaceable gap now exists in the family of those who attend and take part in WWII Weekend at the Reading Airport.

I was fortunate enough to meet him & I've had several conversations with him at the Reading show. I could listen to him talk for hours! A true inspiration. He will be missed, but he will never truly be gone.
