I'm not a pro on these but, this thing sold on epay for 181.00. in any ones opinion, could this badge gone to a ww2 vet during occupation or kw medic???? how scarce/rear are these to command a high price???

Nice looking badge.Yes I would say it was for a WW2 combat medic durn the Occupation period.The CMB is a very scarce badge compared to the CIB.You don't see a lot of them.

I just saw this topic. It looks like an immediate post war badge (1940's) based on the pin. It is interesting how German manufacturers, mainly Poellath, Assmann and Lauer, produced all kinds of US insignia.
