October 22, 201411 yr #1 I found this A-2 for sale for around $500 and was wondering if any of you could give me some advice. I have an original A-2 and the one for sale looks identical to the one I've got. The only thing missing is the inside tag, but you can see where it once was. However, before I purchase it I want to make sure its authentic. Any help is greatly appreciated!
October 22, 201411 yr #3 It's not an issue A2 as it has a seam across the shoulders. All issue jackets had one-piece backs.
October 22, 201411 yr #4 Hard to say for sure with the given photos, but I would take a pass regardless. Replaced knits, no label, looks to have a layer or pecards on it, and the lining has issues. JD
October 22, 201411 yr #5 Jeepers!!! I can't believe I missed the back seam. Good eyes Ian!! I was too busy looking at the zipper and everything else! He is right on the money. Not a govt issued jacket. Def a pass! JD
