October 10, 201411 yr #1 I bought this and a pack at a Yard sale today. The jacket is tagged "M" but looks like it would fit a 6 or 7 year old thin boy. Lady said they bought it for their son at a Army Surplus Store and he has out grown it. The tag has "Jacket - Flying (WEP) MILS - S - 18342- S8(WEP) DSA100 - 71 - C - 1501 Made by Flight Suits Ltd. El Cajon Calif." It looks Military but I think it was replicated so Flyers could dress out their child like Dad. But I really do not know so I'm asking. Richard

October 10, 201411 yr #6 Flight Suits limited is sort of like Avirex. They make lots of "fashion" jackets. I believe they are still in business you should do a search for their website

October 10, 201411 yr Author #8 I will do right now. Richard From what I read from google and a approx. 5 year old Forum discussion It is a very well made copy "Civilian Market" "Flight Suits Ltd." of a late 60's early 70's very scarce jacket worn by Navy and Marine flying personnel. I hope my daughter lets my 7 year old Grandson have it. Once again fellow Forum members have "shown me the light" Have I got it right ? Richard
October 11, 201411 yr #10 A contract jacket would never have a tag with a flag on it like this one.....IMO. That is the first give away that it isn't issue. Ronnie
