August 2, 201411 yr #1 I thought that I should finally show what patches are in my small but quite nice collection , all patches which I will show are original WWII era...(I hope) so here is first set: army and corps patches: from left to right: 7th Army "seven steps to hell", 16th US army corp-ETO, US made but theater modified 15th AAC patch, originaly it was standard AAC patch but it was modified with bullion thread and 15 number has been added, Japanese post WWII made 8th army patch, 10th US army and 11th armored corp

Corpsman, you have a lot of knowledge on patches I made my life affirming decision about 4 days ago to get into patches I come from a passion of WW2 knives and bayonets I know diddly squat at present So what is your approach to collecting patches? Your patches look luverly BTW

August 2, 201411 yr Author #6 5th my faouvrite set -Special units: 5307th composite unit better known as Merrill Marauders, very soft Kiska task force patch, twill 508 PIR pocket patch/82nd ABN...I know its not special unit but its best set for this patch, maybe if I will find some more pocket patches I will put it in to matching group of patches

August 2, 201411 yr #15 Very nice!The ones that"jumped out" at me are the bullion pieces.Is that "Bloody bucket" patch a greenback?Also,can you post close up front and back photos of the "modified 15th" patch?
