The Bulge - photos taken in Winter

In addition to the post on Madrasson and Baugnez, here are some views of various locations in the Bulge that I have taken in Winter time. Great time to visit this region, a lot of places did not really changed since 1944.

Enjoy!

Great pictures. Beautiful countryside. Hard to believe so many lost their lives there so many years ago.

Thank`s for the pics. Remember this area well when I visited the museums there following one route in the tourist flyer. Think you know this flyer dealing with the "Battle of the Bulge"

I'd love to visit in winter time someday. The landscape looks so different. Thanks for posting.

Looking at these photos gives me both an enlightening yet haunting feeling. I see a peaceful winter scene that is hard to believe what went on all those yeas ago. Its almost as if you can feel the presence around you.

I have visited this area during the winter. Not many tourists, also not many museums open either. Does give you a much greater idea of what it must have been like to have been there 70 years ago.

Lovely area of the world year around although pretty cold in winter. Great pictures, I hope to visit the area again this time next year.
