June 21, 201412 yr #1 Picked this nice group up. Fully id'ed to Lt Louis L. Robbins, the original 8th AAF Folder shows that he was awarded the British DFC while a P/O for them before the US involvement in the war. Let the photos speak for themselves! His wings that were on his uniform had one of the clutches broken off. The ribbon bar is all sewn on. His Flight suit has his leather nametape sewn on plus leather Lt. bars on the shoulder.
June 22, 201412 yr #19 Cool set. Interesting that he had 2 DFC's with no Air Medal. Any idea what unit he was transferred to with the AAF? JD
