Was a marine gunner in early 43' assigned to Special Troops, H&S Battery, 3rd Weapons Battalion, which is what the <621> stands for. It makes sense he had an early pack if he enlisted in 37'.

My only change so far is that 300 = 3rd Marines. I think between your list and what I've found out, we might have all the series numbers ID'd. Then it's just breaking those down into all the number codes.

Who knows why there is a ton of blood on that lower, but too me it was carried on Iwo with him, it also has his unis on it and it’s named to him.
