Not really a patch, but a fine example of a US Geodetic service Officer's cap. I do not own this hat and I apologize for the poor image.

I believe it is early 1950s, but I am not certain.

That is the second pattern US C&G officer cap badge. The cap could well be WW2 as the badge was used in the war. All Coast and Geodetic pieces are scarce, if the cap is at all fairly priced I would go get it.
