March 2, 201412 yr #7 I'm always intrigued how the back of such patches manage to get so dirty!? Usually because the fake artist is using synthetic materials that are not correct for the period, and they are trying to hide that. When people ask me if a Vietnam era piece isgood or bad, this is one of the questions I ask... why is the back so dirty on a patch that was apparently never actually worn?
