Didn't like the design at first until I went there to see the Memorial for myself. Perfect. Powerful. Persistent.

 

If you are older than 60 years of age and visit the Wall, I guarantee you will cry like a baby and be very proud of it.

I stood watch on the traveling wall from 2:00am-6:00am one morning. Very surreal, words can't describe it and I am well under 60. I can only imagine what the original must be like when it is quiet... Welcome home Vietnam Vets. Scott.

My father-in-law was in VN is 1964. He said he didnt think he would ever go to the wall. He said"Id rather think we all made it home"
