I'm not even sure how to phrase this but just wanted to post something in remembrance of these 19 brave men lost yesterday in the massive Arizona Wildfires. A near overwealming loss. Hoping that God holds them in a special place and thoughts and prayers for their families.

We are lucky that we have men who go into harms way us. Yes we should mourn their loss, but we should be joyful that these men died doing the job they wanted to do. The faint of heart does not become a hot shot fire fighter or smoke jumper. I lift a toast to these brave men.

Thanks for this post and honoring these men who perished very close to home. Prescott Arizona is justr devastated with this loss, and it is only fitting and proper to remember these brave souls. Kevin

It is a special of breed men and women that move toward the firing (or in this case fire). And although many wear the uniform, not all find themselves able to do so at their moment of truth.

Quite a loss, I seen the artical yesterday in the NY Daily News, photos of most of them, what very fine American men, I don't know what else to say really, other than a tragedy, that will be long in passing for family and friends of these men, my heart goes out to them.
