Yea that's how it is now. I agree, it's dumb and has ruined the old traditions and symbolism but most folks I know still wear red if that's what they're supposed to wear.

May 21May 21 #109 Keeping the topic alive. Here is a jumper with mermaids on the cuffs. Fabric of the jumper looks pretty modern, so it looks like someone is keeping the tradition alive. The jumper is on ShopGW. They do suck about posting pictures, so this is all that shows.

Really like those mermaids. There are several different mermaid designs but I like these the best. Nice.
