Just read this today in the NY Daily News, a former Airborne Chaplain and NYPD Chaplain, and Queens native. Monsignor Joseph A Dunne, in Korea he was in the 187th RCT.

In WWII Padre Dunne was in the 508th Parachute Infantry.

BTW, CH Dunne replaced CH Francis Sampson as the Catholic Priest and Regimental Chaplain.
