June 12, 201313 yr #1 In Feb 2012 I chanced upon a Raider Stiletto which is now in my collection. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/136720-raider-stiletto/ Since then I have been looking for a decent scabbard. Just got this one off eBay (item 111089915524) for $120. Its missing the retaining strap. Do you guys agree that its a Raider scabbard? How about price? Bill
June 12, 201313 yr #6 Bill Yes, and your question is ? "Decent". I do beleive it has an interesting look about it. I'll take it ! No wait...........Can you see even my smile for you. It seems to me you did very well. Congratulations, see seems just what the doctor ordered, and you know how the doctors might over charge every now and than ? Well I do think that there is no way I would not have picked it up. What is the name of that show ?? Oh yes "The Price is Right" IMHO. Good job son ! You did well, congrats again. Tony

July 11, 201313 yr #15 Bill, That is certainly a match made in heaven. Mine did not come with an M6 scabbard, but with this leather variant. I am not upset though as this pairing came straight from the WWII USMC veteran's daughter. Tim

If it was it would have been a lot easier to find one.
July 13, 201313 yr #19 The M6 is not the correct scabbard for a Raider Stiletto. If it was it would have been a lot easier to find one. Oh, I thought it was . All my reference books are packed away in prep for an impending move the end of this month. So what was the Raider stiletto issued in or did it not have a standard sheath it was paired with? Tim

So what was the Raider stiletto issued in or did it not have a standard sheath it was paired with? Tim The scabbard I posted is the "Type 1" and probably the most common issued. The "Type 2" does not have the metal plate at the bottom. There is also a "Type 3" which does have the metal plate but lacks the eyelet for tie-down. They look very similar to the M6 but are different. Bill
