I figured I would post soemthing a little different. I have not found a name in either jacket as of yet, althought I have to amit I have not looked very hard.

 

DRESS JACKET

I would assume that the previous owner of this jacket was a higher level officer in the Illinois VFW. All the buttons are VFW buttons and the collars have very nice embriodered VFW "DUIs".

The four pocket is American Legion...this type uniform was worn before WWII, and I assume for some time after WWII...at least with the VFW, it wasn't uncommon to use their WWII uniforms with the addition of some VFW insignias...
