I bought this SF jungle jackets and OG-107 shirts lot on and off eBay. I missed a couple of inked pants and a M-65. Shame for the pants but I can live without the M-65 wich was not qual badged.

 

As you can see Col. Veazey chose to recycle some of his jungle jackets name tapes on his post-VN shirts.

 

 

 

I had to shoot with flash because it is already dark in Paris.

Close ups of the Thai parawings and name tapes. The in-country name tape is hastily hand sewn. So is the FORSCOM SSI.

 

 

Are the Thai wings US made or local manufacture ?

Good Morning Sir, Colonel Veazey is my grandfather and I would very much like to get his uniforms back into my fathers hands for this years holiday season. Colonel Veazey is my hero and I would very much like to discuss any means necessary to get these items back into our family to hold onto for generations to come. Thank you so much.

May I ask how they showed up for sale at Ebay years ago?

There is another thread concerning this same Colonel and in that thread it’s stated that the items they had they bought at an estate sale, they even mentioned that someone else got all his medals.

Thought it was an estate sale where the bulk was sold. Either way, quite legally sold and purchased.

Appears someone sold it then changed their mind a few years later.

I'm hesitant to show anything I've bought that is named lest someone calls expecting it to be returned. No disrespect but I would not ask for an item back if it had a family name. I would ask how it was obtained and if I could pay market value for it.

These two related individuals here have not made their intentions known.
