August 6, 201213 yr #1 On July 17, 2012 I lost a good friend of mine. He was involved in a carbon monoxide accident that claimed his life. Jace was a goof. Always had a smile on his face. I meet Jace when he was a member of our fire dept explorer post when he was in high school. After high school Jace joined the army and served a 15 month tour in Afghanistan as a member of the 62nd Engineer Combat Battalion Hvy. After his discharge he rejoined the fire dept and went through our training academy. That is how I got to know him. He had just bought a house out in the country that he loved and he was making payments on an engagement ring for the gal that he loved when this happened. I made this riker mount for his funeral. I gave a talk at the funeral one of the hardest things I have ever done. God's Blessings Jace.
