Just picked this patch up over the weekend in IL. 1st division patch , Twill made on red backing .you can see it was swen on a uniforum at one time. This was one varation I did not own. This came from Bill Scott. And Its a real one. Thought I would share this one with you guys, This is the first one I ever seen.

WAS THIS SUPPOSE TO REPRESENT THE "BATTLE" BORN PATCH? I HOPE MY WORDING IS CORRECT. I WAS ALWAYS TOLD A RED BORDER ON A USMC PATCH FROM WWII SYMBOLIZED A BATTLE BLAZE!
