I think that the helmet shown below in the other ended Ebay transaction, is the original shell bought last november by Mr.Ciak and after maquillage was transformed in the present helmet !!! You can see that it have the identical detil about surt, paint over rim, etc...... See this ebay transaction... Ebay ended auction 1 The e-buyer with the feedback on 11.30.2011 The Ebuyer Mr.Ciak
January 13, 201214 yr #7 I really don't know why everyone gets so worked up. No one on this Forum is going to stop this happening. If this guy stops there are plenty ready to replace him. As I mentioned on another post, anyone who builds their collection by using E-bay alone deserves to get burnt. If people are too lazy to get out and learn the ropes by looking at lids at shows then I have no pity for whoever buys these fakes. If they want to buy sh1t then more fool them. The people buying them obviously don't use this forum (as many don't). Too be honest some don't care. If people can't be bothered to learn their hobby then tough, I won't be losing any sleep over these fakes. Harsh but true !!!!! Rich

Yes and there are all the other sign of rust on the internal and external of the shell. Absolultly the same helmet. No other possibility about it. File closed.....

Rich Hi King i agree , but we need to keep posting this because there are always new members that join here that may still be a bit green, and it alerts them to these fakers before they spend silly amounts of money on a fake. I also wouldnt want a son or daughter getting her/his fathers collection in 30 years time then to be told they are fakes.. If we all shout loud enough people will hear us :thumbsup:

Rich In a way, I agree with you Rich - Too many people buy this junk without researching anything at all. I do have some pity though, but not a lot. It's good to post the photos and warn about the sellers here on the forum though - It helps the new guys out, and they're coming here to at least try to learn.
