December 8, 201114 yr #1 With my house is such disorder I've been frustrated in how to take photos, since Navy uniform utilitze the left side of the uniform almost exclusively taking the photo while hanging in the closet seemed the most efficient way. After a few shots I was quite happy with the final result. It's a beautiful bullion Aviation Machinist CPO, with 16 years of service. The ribbons are horribly out of order though it was how it came. Just swapping a few around would fix it and make it a really sharp uniform but they have that (imo) really annoying plastic covering them that make it tough to do anything to them except let them be. Though it doesn't show up in the original photo, I do have the original garrison hat with the cpo pin on it. As you can see the USMC uniforms stacking up behind this one, I've begun to focus largely on USMC items (ega',s officer's rank insignia -(granted they use the same as the name, when you pick up a well used marine oak leaf or railroad tracks you can tell it's been in the mud and exposed to shrapnel and all the gritty elements of war) and uniforms) as well as my other two hobbies of collecting insignia in general and ribbon bar/sets. This one will probably be a victim of downsizing (there's 1 other great 82'dn Airborne uniform I'd like to keep but not be able to afford to hold onto it) along with 4 other's I've already set aside. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this one, I really love the bullion rate and (someday) figure out how to safely re-arrange the ribbons to their correct order of precedence.
