October 25, 201114 yr #1 i got this in a trade at the swapmeet on Sunday. traded a Nam era Bronze Star. ribbons are wolf brown andd include: Purple heart, Navy Commendation, Naval Reserve, and campaign ribbons. looks like this guy saw some combat. tunic is in great shape but why are the stars higher above the rank? if anyone can help me research the name that would be most appreciated. the name is "Bocos" Philip
October 25, 201114 yr #2 Although I am not a collector of uniforms, I too am curious about the stars on the sleeves being so high. I also like the ribbons, they're in standing with the jacket.
October 25, 201114 yr Author #3 thanks JS! i removed one of the ribbons (PH) to see if they were newly added. when i looked at the place on the front and inside of the jacket i noticed they have been there for a LONG time due to the marks left by the pins and catches. Philip
