October 3, 201114 yr #3 The item you are showing is a Multi-cam patch and since it was a circular patch worn prior to the rectangular patch, the patch you show would never have been worn. You need one in the ACU foilage green to be correct, this is a fantasy patch.

October 3, 201114 yr #6 Not sure about the one you posted, it certainly looks like desert tan on my screen, maybe thats just me. I'm not sure why this circular design patch would be made in a "multi-cam" color scheme, but who knows. As for the desert tan ISAF patches worn on ACUs in the same pattern, I believe they were worn about 2006-2007. And yes, they were tan patches worn on the ACUs, not ACU pattern. Just to avoid further confusion, here's a picture of an afghan made version of the one you posted (this particular example from 4th BDE, 82nd ABN Division, c. 2007). Below it is a US made version of the later ACU patch (this particular example from 4th BDE, 25th ID, c. 2009). Vance
October 3, 201114 yr #7 These ISAF patches can be a collecting field of their own, especially if you like foreign patches as well. Aside from the US versions of the circle and rectangle ones, I have two "rubber" patches from Spain, circle style on OD and 6 color desert, as well as a big green square with just ISAF from a Northern European country, if I remember right. So these type patches were worn by many different people, not just limited to the US.

October 3, 201114 yr #9 Hawkdriver, it is not multicam colored patch. It is made as tan patch because many European ISAF troops have desert uniforms. US did wear the tan patches with their ACU's. Those all are in-country made for all of ISAF troops, not just US.

There are tons more pictures of this patch being worn with even better closeups, and closer matches to your shade of colors by Canadian Forces..... But sadly, I still can't find the patch being worn that I started out looking for!
October 4, 201114 yr #14 Almost all of NATO nations that are involved in OEF worn ISAF patches. -US -Germany -Canada -Belgium -British and many more. Like I explained in my original post that this type of patch is made for everyone, any countries that got deployed to Afghanistan.
