Here is Hubbell after he got out of the service. I cannot find out what he went on to do, but from the attention surrounding his passing in 1959, and the numerous newspaper articles about him, he appears to have been a pretty successful man.

This appears to be a parade in either NY or DC, I cannot quite tell, but is certainly looks stateside to me.

This is a certificate of appreciation awarded posthumously to Fred Hubbell by then president Lyndon B. Johnson. I do not believe the signature real I think it is a fasmile unfortunately.

Here is a letter of bereavment from the American Legion following his passing in 1959.

Here is a leaflet that was dropped on the division by plane while in occupation duty in Germany. This commemorates the 1st anniversary of the fighting Northwest of Chateau Thierry. Notice Fred's handwritten notation.

Very nice document. Its actually the Silver Citation Star document from the 1920's from before the medal existed. Yours is dated 1928. Super rare example.
