101st and parachute/glider patches era?

I was going thru my patch box and found these two patches. I assume they are Vietnam Era but would appreciate a second or third opinion. The Old Abe doesn’t have tab so might look for one in the right era. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Your 101st patch is what Mark Bando classifies as a Type 14. The vast majority of these patches were worn during the Vietnam period. The cap patch is an enlisted version and could date back to WWII, though these WWII era patches were worn well after the end of WWII.
