I think these are okay, just uncleaned, tarnished though second opinions are welcome.

I am not an expert on these, but these seem poorly cast to me.

The pin latch isn't something you'd see on a WW1 item. The period latches aren't as wide.

With any WWI check the above listed commercial site first - it will save you time 😉

One helpful hint on metal WW1 wings.   If the “U.S” letters aren’t nicely formed and symmetrical, you’re probably looking at a fake.   Fakers seem to have problems getting this correct.   
However, properly formed and symmetrical letters do not guarantee originality.  You then have to look at other characteristics.   Could be a really good fake.
