Member_2114 Posted September 27, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 27, 2010 This is the third year that GI44-45 rebadged as 1st Infantry and endeavoured to recreate the units embarkation and Omaha Beach assault of June 1944. This year we were joined by the 1st Infantry Division Living Group, and Normandy44 Living history group. Despite dire weather we had a great time. . ...as usual “tab” on any photo to take you to the whole album on webshots [/url

Member_2114 Posted September 27, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted September 27, 2010 Corporal Murphy does his best to entertain the troops, first he tries his “Ghoul” impression Failing that he uses his Irish Charm to persuade Miss Marina Mae to do raise the troops morale with some songs from home.. Causing some amongst the group to get on to the dance floor.. Corporal Murphy looks on, not impressed by the dancing skills of the privates... He hatches a plan..... ....and soon the Irishman is dancing a merry jig on the dance floor. Resulting in a few dimes being thrown in PFC Woods helmet from appreciative onlookers
