craig_pickrall Posted January 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2010 Because of a question on a radio component on another thread I took photos of all the components of this radio. I set it up as a separate thread so we can find it again. Key search words: PRC-25 PRC 25 PRC25 PRC-77 PRC 77 PRC77

DiGilio Posted January 21, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 21, 2010 I always thought we needed a PRC-25/PRC-77 thread. Ill try and contribute to it later including posting some pics from a 1962 TM for the PRC-25 I have which apepars to be the first TM for it. For now heres a picture I have handy that I took recently of a few H-138/U handsets that arent shown in the manuals craig posted. The H-138/U was the original handset for the PRC-25 and was relpaced with the H-189/GR (which if I remember correctly was first made in 1966). As you can see they didnt have any hooks on the back but field expedient ones were often made by wrapping wire around the handsets body right above the button and making one. J_Andrews Posted January 21, 2010 Share #7 Posted January 21, 2010 Could someone post photos of actual components? The manual pix are not very clear...
